Easter Weekend

Hi everyone,

Hope your Easter weekend was as fun as mine was. My family and I trekked down to Temecula, Ca. to visit my sisters and my parents for the weekend. I love going down there. It is such a cute quaint little town. The weather is always beautiful too. We had an awesome dinner and desserts, but the most fun was later that night when we all sang Karaoke. Everyone sang. The kids, all the adults, my husband Rudy and even me. (Let me tell you my throat was killing me) and I don't think I will be on American Idol any time soon either. The Karaoke machine was the neatest one I have ever seen. We liked it so much that we ordered one as soon as we got home. It is called Magic Sing. Also, when I was down there my sisters and I were doing a little shopping and we were in one antique store and got to talking to the owner and now I will be sending her some items that I will have made. I am sooooo excited. I feel a new adventure coming on. So stay tuned and look for the pictures soon to be posted of the things I will be making to send off to her!!!!

Hello everyone....This is a picture of me and my 6 gorgeous children. My daughter Olivia who is to the right of me, and my daughter Sophia who is in the red and white cheer leading outfit holding all the flowers, were in the school play "Grease". My daughter Olivia played the lead roll of Sandy and let me tell you she did a fantastic job. She rocked the house. I am so proud of her and Sophia. They were both fantastic. It was really fun because my family and friends, my son and all his friends (who are like my own children), were hooting and hollering for both the girls. Now mind you there was about 40 of us there to see them. To see the smiles on my girl's faces knowing we are all there to see them and to know that my family and friends care so much to come out and see them really warms my heart. I am really blessed!!!

Mistake

O.k. everyone I made a mistake and pressed the wrong button and now I am following my own blog. I can't seem to undo what I did. Oh well, now it will look like I have a lot of people following me...hehe! I am still LEARNING about all of this tech stuff and it is going to take me some time, but that's o.k...

Monday Challenge...little neighborhood!!!

Here is my challenge for last week. I am a little late posting but you know how things go.

These are my cute little bird houses that bring me a lot of smiles.

I loved making them. I kept thinking about little birdie mamas cleaning and decorating their little houses, and the whole time I was smiling. I used the neighborhood line from Echo Park. I just love that line. I had been eyeing it for sometime and when I saw the bird house I put the two together and got right to creating. You can win this little neighborhood if you are signed up for the National Scrapbooking Day at Art Inspired on April 30th. I hope who ever wins these they bring smiles to their faces as they did mine.

I have just been challenged by my friend Jackie Truhe that we are going to do a "lay out a day" or something crafty...everyday!!! So get reveved up everyone and join us..

Design Team

Hello everyone,

Wow I haven't been on my blog in a very long time. I am not real computer savey but I am determined to give it a go. I am going to "LEARN" how to use the computer this year. Learn is my one word for the year from Ali Edwards "One Word". I know we learn something everyday, but this is increadable. I am putting myself out there to really Learn different things. A couple of examples:

1. Learn to deal with stress better

2. Learn to be more creative in my role as a designer for the Art Inspired Studios store where I am a designer on the team.

3. Learn to broaden my horrizens with the books that I read.

So far things are slowly going, but they are going. I have to say that I am proud of myself. It is hard to put yourself out there and really dig in. Well with enough of that said, on to better topics....
